Employees unearth 45 grenades in Cavite

LUCENA CITY—Building staff, who have been excavating a river financial institution on Monday, recovered a cache of explosives in Kawit city in Cavite province.

The Cavite police info workplace reported on Tuesday, Sept. 20, {that a} Bernard Jose Iborde went to the native police round 8:30 p.m. and turned over 45 unfired M203 grenades.

The police mentioned that whereas doing excavation work earlier that day, Iborde and his co-workers discovered the buried explosives alongside the river financial institution in Barangay San Sebastian.

The police sought help from the Explosive and Ordnance Unit for correct disposal of the grenades.
