Ellen and I went to Washington DC on Wednesday for a dwell Survivor occasion with Rob Has A Podcast. Right here’s the recap – and the Survivors we met in actual life!

As you probably already know, my pals Ellen, Hillary and I are enormous followers of Survivor. We’ve seen all 42 seasons – and counting!
And we’ve even finished our personal Survivor weekends.
Rob Has A Podcast aka RHAP
All of us hearken to Rob Has A Podcast, which is essentially the most well-known Survivor podcast produced by by former Survivor contestant Rob Cesternino, who was on Amazon (season 6) and All-Stars (season 8).
Each week Rob and his group produce recaps of the present and interview gamers.
Our occasion on Wednesday was a gathering of RHAP Survivor followers and a dwell recording of the Know It Alls Episode, which you’ll watch right here.

Pre-Present Dinner at Zaytinia
Ellen and I drove up within the afternoon and spent the evening at a Courtyard by Marriott that was in strolling distance to the occasions.
After we donned our Survivor buffs, we went to dinner at Zaytinya. Ellen researched nice spots within the and we each love Turkish, Greek, and Lebanese delicacies.

Cocktails
Ellen had the Za-atar Margarita with “za’atar air” foam, and I cherished my spiced mezcal drink.
The Meals
We ordered 5 dishes, ending with the well-known grilled octopus.
HTIPITI

conventional crispy chickpea fritters, tumeric pickles, cherry tomato, tahini
This was my favourite dish!!
BANTIJIAN BIL LABAN
crispy eggplant, roasted garlic yogurt, pistachio, mint-cardamom spice

smoked mushrooms, dates, roasted walnuts, cumin, labneh
OCTOPUS SANTORINI
grilled Mediterranean octopus, marinated onions, capers, yellow cut up pea purée
Every thing was unimaginable!
Stroll to The Nationwide Press Membership
We took a brisk stroll to the Nationwide Press Membership the place the occasion was held.
We bought there an hour early and snagged some nice seats.
Rob Has An Announcement
Our host for the night tell us some Survivors had been in the home! We knew this was probably, however it was SO COOL to get to mingle with former gamers!
Ellen and I jumped up immediately with our seat-neighbor Maisie to satisfy Maryanne and Omer from season 42.
It was insanity in there! (Additionally actually hope our boosters hold us wholesome…..!)
We additionally met Tori from 42, who was tremendous good! We ended up taking place 13 flights of stairs along with her later and now we’re BFFs. Haha.
We met all of the Survivors in attendance. So so enjoyable.
After which all of us watched the dwell episode.

Brice and Wendell hosted the after celebration throughout the road which was extra time to mingle with gamers and followers.

We walked residence at midnight and slept until virtually 8. I used to be so grateful my physique clock didn’t wake me up at 6. This previous gal can’t keep up late anymore.
Breakfast at Tatte
After a fast bathe, we went to Tatte for espresso and breakfast. I had the very best espresso and eggs with tomatoes and whipped goat cheese on sourdough. We want a Tatte in Cville!
